PSV slap $40 million price tag on World Cup star Lozano

Juventus will have to pay $40 million USD if they want to lure Chucky Lozano away from PSV Eindhoven this summer.

The Italian giants were linked with the winger earlier in the transfer window and have apparently rekindled their interest in light of the 22-year-old’s dazzling display against Germany at the weekend (Record).

The only stumbling block could be the fee. PSV wants top dollar for a player who lit up the Eredivisie with 17 goals and who has announced himself on the world stage with the match winner against Die Mannschaft.

Juventus has already sent representatives to the Netherlands to meet with the PSV hierarchy. Czech star Pavel Nedved was among the group.

No move will materialize until after the tournament in Russia. Osorio and the national team staff are unwilling to allow their players to be distracted by domestic issues.

The delay could give other clubs a chance to respond to Juve’s interest. Premier League sides Everton and Chelsea have both been linked with a move in the past.
