Three Club America stars could move to Europe, says Piojo

Club America manager Miguel Herrera has revealed that three of his players are on the radar of European clubs.

Mateus Uribe, Diego Lainez, and Edson Alvarez are all the focus of attention from the other side of the Atlantic.

As reported earlier in the summer, America would demand a substantial fee for Uribe. Alvarez has been linked with a move to Ajax, while Lainez could follow Oswaldo Alanis to Getafe.

“The players have a contract with América for now”, said Piojo. “But if European clubs come with a determination to sign them, it will be hard.

“Many people have noticed Uribe, but Lainez and Alvarez have five-year contracts. At this time, nothing is decided, but we can not say that nothing will happen, especially with those three names” (via Multimedios).

Piojo went on to add that America was already thinking about possible replacements should any of the trio leave.
