Club America will play five pre-season friendlies ahead of the Apertura, with the headline tie being a glamor fixture against Premier League giants Manchester United in Phoenix.
The two sides last played each other in 2015. Morgan Schneiderlin’s early goal gave United a 1-0 win.
The United clash is the only game the club will play against non-Mexican opposition.
Herrera’s men kick-off their pre-season with a game against reigning champions Santos Laguna on June 30 in Dallas. They then play Pachuca, Morelia, and Atlas before facing Mourinho’s outfit on July 19.
America’s two new signing, Luis Reyes and Jorge Sanchez, will both be involved, as will Toulon Tournament star Diego Lainez.
However, it will be without Oribe Peralta, Edson Alvarez, and Matias Uribe, all of whom will be involved in the World Cup.
United is also likely to be missing several key players. The English club has 11 first team players going to Russia.
America’s full pre-season schedule:
30 June: vs Santos Laguna (Dallas)
4 July: vs Pachuca (McAllen)
8 July: vs Morelia (San Jose)
